- Tighter tolerances than average vents for smooth movement/operation
$25 - Individual vent
$90 - Set of 4 vents
Compare those prices to the Lamborghini dealer! At that price you may just want some spares!
Prices include shipping in the Continental U.S. There will be an additional shipping cost outside the U.S.
I am told I will take delivery 4-5 weeks after order is placed. They are shipping from Italy. ;) I will ship all paid orders the next business day after I take receipt of the vents.
Payment must be received by me in advance because I am required to pay the cost of the entire order up-front. Order will be placed as soon as I have enough payments to cover the majority of the order. I am prepared to cover some of the cost until I get reimbursed but to protect myself, I need to know I won't be left holding the entire bag. Otherwise I could end up in trouble with my wife. :o
I have already received so much interest in this offer that I have no doubt I can sell enough to complete it. However, if for any reason the offer cannot be completed, I will promptly refund all monies paid by members.

Murci-Me, you are correct - they will not work in the Aventador. I actually prefer the look of the round vents in the Murci to the square vents in the Aventador. Truthfully, I don't care for the Aventador interior. If I were to do an Aventador build, I would be tempted to bastardize it and put a Murci dash in. I'm sure I would catch hell for doing that though. :)

Sorry but I do need the money up-front. I will not be placing an order until I can cover most of the cost. I don't mind being out $100 or $200 but I can't be out $1,000. If I had enough people who had paid, I would order them today. Just waiting for enough people to come through.
So far, only one person has paid (thanks Pedro).
It seems like there is plenty of interest so I'm sure we can make this happen.

If I can get paid for all but 10 vents, I will feel comfortable placing the order. I won't have to carry that much of an investment and I'm sure I can sell that many if I need to. We are getting close.

If I could just sell a couple more sets (8 vents), I could place the order. Maybe I should open this up at Mad Mechanics? I'd rather just keep it to Lamboclone but I also want to be fair to those who have paid. I'd like to place this order within a week if possible.

I am almost out of vents at this point. I have 16 vents that people have said they want but have not yet paid for. If all of those sell, I only have 2 vents left.
If I can get paid for a couple of these sets, I will attempt to place the order tomorrow (not sure if they are open on Saturday). Again the first to send payment, get the parts. It looks like I am going to run out so if you are thinking about getting in, don't wait!

Sounds like because you are a reseller, you were able to cut out the middle-man and get them cheaper too. That is a good price. Does that include shipping?

Vent order placed this morning. Should be 4-5 weeks out from here. I will keep this thread updated as I get additional information.
I asked about ordering 52 instead of 50 but no love. They said I would have to order 100 to get 52. :( It was worth a shot anyway Pedro.
So, I still have two vents left if anyone wants them. If not, I will keep them for spares.

Hello everyone. I don't have an update from the vendor on our order yet. I just wanted to post and let everyone know I am still alive and everything is still good. The vendor said they should be able to give me a week or so notice of our vents coming because they should hear when the vents ship from Italy.

I know it hasn't been long enough to take delivery of the vents from the vendor yet but I want to keep checking in and reassuring everyone that all is still good.
The order was placed with the vendor on 5/16 but there was a 4-5 week expected delivery on that. It has been 3 weeks as of today so we still have a week or 2 before I am expected to get them. Did I mention they are coming from Italy? :)
The vendor did say they would probably be able to give us a week's notice before they arrived but I haven't heard anything yet so I'm guessing it is going to be more like 2 weeks to go still. If I haven't heard anything by next week, I will follow up with them.
Thanks again to everyone who helped make this group buy happen.

Just a quick update...I contacted the vendor yesterday and the following was their reply:
"I'll see if we can contact Prima and get an update on the status of your vents. We got a shipment from them last week but your vents and other things we ordered weren't included. We usually get shipments from them every 1-3 weeks. I'll try to find out if they will be on the next shipment."

I heard from the vendor that they expect to receive the vents from Prima this week. They said they will ship them to me the next day. We are getting close! ::thumbup

I am told the vents are currently sitting at the vendor's location. They will be shipped to me via UPS today. As soon as I receive them, I will ship everyone's vents on the first possible shipping day.

Update: I have just been sent tracking for the vents. They are on their way to me via UPS. The scheduled delivery date is Tuesday, July 2nd.

Is the surround metal or silver plastic ? Looks great !

The surround is chromed plastic. I wasn't expecting a metal surround. I am sure the Lamborghini labeled vents are plastic as well since these are the same part from the same manufacturer - they just don't have the Lamborghini label. The Lamborghini labeled vents definitely look like chromed plastic to me as well. Maybe someone can confirm.

All vents were shipped via insured USPS today. I have sent PMs to all members who placed orders.

Mine arrived today and the parts look really good. Each part was wrapped individually in bubble wrap (I can't image the time it took to do this 100 times ::toothy)

It is no secret - that is exactly where I got them (I said so in the original thread if you go look). Originally, Euramtec could not get these because Lamborghini had an exclusive deal with Prima. Although that exclusive deal has since lapsed, Euramtec does not sock this item because it it too expensive and there isn't enough demand. Don't expect to see them on their eBay store. These must be purchased in quantities of 50 thus the group buy here. Prima fulfilled the order but it took some time because they are in Italy.

I thought I would update this post to show the fitment of these vents in an OEM dash I just purchased. They fit perfectly! Keep in mind the dash will eventually have leather on it so the gap seen between the vent and the hole is normal.
For anyone interested, I still have two vents left over from the group buy which I would like to sell. The price is $25 each.

Yep, I am doing an OEM body probably on a custom chassis although I do keep going back and forth on that particular point. I have a couple of OEM pieces now and I continue to collect. I have to tell you, this is the most fun I have ever had. ::bounce
BTW, I have had some inquiries into my two remaining vents. I don't think I'll be ordering another set of these because I haven't had enough interest to sell 50 more. However, for anyone who wants a set of 4, last I heard String has two OEM vents that would be a perfect match to mine. So, buy his and mine and you'll have a nice set of 4! :)
