Not only that.  It fits great like it was made for it
 and doesn't break axle or trans like v8
and doesn't require all the custom fab of v12

I remember the first time I drove a Buick T type back in the 80s.  It was the first car that had the same unbelievable mid range as the 426 HEMIs I had driven in the past. They just pull and pull.....

I don't have a problem with 3800s.  Everybody should use any engine they want.  My ls4 uses the same transaxle with a little bit stouter differential.  Although I've broken three input shafts I don't believe that it is because I have a V8 instead of a V6.  You have to take skull angels posts with a grain of salt.  He obviously has a hard on for V8s.
