Title: Shift knob

Iâ€™m still just in the design phase, so this might take some time to complete and I will do my best to keep everyone up to speed on it.

A back-up camera would be very useful. I can't imagine you can see much from inside the car without one.

I do, but I want to be able to see what gear I am in on the dash.

Post by: RT on September 28, 2012, 12:21:52 PM: I can understand wanting to be sure what gear you are in with paddle shifters but if you have a conventional shift lever, it should be obvious. Having the gear selection displayed is a nice feature but, for the purists, that isn't factory equipment and finding an appropriate location for the display might be hard considering the lack of space on the dash.
The back up camera is very nice. I have one that shows up on my radio screen whenever you shift into reverse. The radio has all the provisions to connect. I also have a manual switch to turn on the back up camera whenever I want, even when going forward. The switch does NOT light the backup lights.
