On this roadster there is no weather stripping on this front part. What do you guys use here? There isn't much play here if I put a full size weather strip and it's hard to get the top off then?

Go to Lowes. The 'M-D Building Products' line has a great selection of D shape and tear drop shaped rubber seals that will fill the panel gap perfectly.

Unfortunately that didn't work. With this setup, I have to push the top all the way forward and press the release lever to get it to come off. With the weatherstrip in place, it was hard as hell to get the top on and off. There is weather stripping around the other 3 sides so I'm thinking about just leaving it off.

Check out the sealing gaskets at Mcmaster.com, They have a large selection of gasket materials.
