Hey guys
Is using a wheel adapter the same as using a spacer? I am looking at just buying the gallardo style wheels which have a different bolt pattern than the murcie's so I have a 120 bolt pattern on my hubs, what do I need to do? Buy new hubs?

You will need 120x5 adapted to a 112x5 adapters ::thumbup, Im thinking of doing the same thing ::beers Gallardo wheels are so much cheaper

Yea man the wheels are cheap and I don't think they look too much different than the Hercules. I want the flat black ones then I'm going to send the rears to get widened.
Looks like adapters costs some money too huh, that's $370 ::help
It figures that the ones we need cost more...

Spacers are not the same as adapters. Spacers are just that....they create the needed space between the wheel and the hub using the same bolt pattern as your existing hub.
Adapters also create added space between the existing hub and wheel but they also convert your existing bolt pattern to a desired bolt pattern that you want so you can get those cool wheels you've been dreaming about. Also adapters can convert 4 lug to 5 lug.

SWEET! Good find ::thumbup now to sell my wheels and find some gallardo wheels ::headbang.
The thinner the adapter the more of the lug you will have to cut off, but honestly the thinner the better in my opinion, when you run into problems is with the big 2" and 3" spacers, they just aren't real safe and bad on suspension parts ::salute

I was looking at 19x12" rear vette wheels so I wouldn't need an adapter but the offsets are probably too big I'm thinking I'd need over an inch of spacers ::duh am I thinking right?
