Is the gray color caused by the part, the cloth or just the way the picture was taken? I would like to have one of these but everything else in my interior will be black shiny carbon fiber and this wouldn't match. The parts look awesome and it's just the color that I'm worried about. I'm assuming that the hold for the e-gear / manual shifter plate is the same size?
Thanks,
Chris

That's what I was thinking but I see dull green, weaving looks different than the standard stuff too
Would take one tho if I had the money :(
I'd probably use leather tho so if I can get one made from plastic or something that'd work?

The green color is caused from the type of material and mold release used. The hole sizes are enlarged to allow a final layer of material to be applied. I can put a shiny layer of carbon on the part for you but I can't guarantee fitment to your console will be perfect, and you won't want to sand the finished surface to make it fit.
Egear and manual plates have the same size opening but egear has the bolts facing side to side, Manual is front to rear. I have it programmed both ways so let me know if you guys would like either. I'll throw in a piece of carbon for the finished surface.

Looks Great! I hope your wearing a very good resperator when machining. Carbon fiber is much much worse than asbestos!

Resporator? What's that? Caugh caugh... ::tongue
The machines have a vacuum system that draws air from around the part as its being cut. Though I'm sure dust is still being ingested as the parts are being cut ::duh

Yeah even when I weld and grind at work I need a very good extractor and respirator helmet and I can tell my lungs are still being affected after awhile. I have a condition though but it shows how much you still end up breathing in :(
