Title: murci tail light alternative
Post by: lp670mike on June 17, 2014, 05:16:36 PM
Hey guys back with another junkyard substitute!
I bought a set of kia soul tail lights with trim rings for 100 bucks shipped off of ebay.
I started fitting the driver side and it is turning out pretty good.  I had to trim parts of the factory mounting flanges off and also the corner of the entire light off. I am going to panel bond a piece of black abs on to seal it. Still just roughly mounted at this point. They also come in all red and all red with led lights on the newer models but these were the cheapest for the trial run.

I'm new to this and I'm gathering as much info as possible. I'm looking to buy a murcielago  kit. Not sure who to trust. I've read about some shady makers out there.
