Title: New member wanting to say hello...
Post by: redline on November 05, 2014, 05:23:58 PM
Just wanted to give the obligatory new member hello. ::wave I have been following this site for the past few months and all you peeps sure know your stuff. Seen some great conversations and some really super info on many of the replica builds. Looks like alot of good help can be found here. I have had a few rep's in my day but never took on a full build yet but looking to change that soon. I always have my eye out and I know where to come to get some questions answered when the time comes. Keep posting those awesome pics and congrats to all that take on or have built any rep!  ::headbang

Welcome to the Forum! There is a great community of members here and a wealth of knowledge to be found in the short few years we have been around. No question is stupid and remember there are million different ways to accomplish the one goal we all have and not one of them is wrong in the end (unless its slacking in safety)  ::salute

Thanks for the welcome guys.

As far as a future potential build I really am kinda waiting and watching to see what transpires with the Aventador market as that is what I would really love to build. I see there are a few out there now but it's still early and looks like there are a few more in the works.

My current plan is to have a Vaydor roadster built first starting early 2015. Already have my '04 twin turbo G35 donor with only 17K miles on it ready to go. Should make for a nice graduation ride for my son if I can have it finished by June. Then it will be time to build a full on Aventdor for me!  ::headbang

Welcome aboard! I can not disagree here! The Vaydor will be my next build for sure! If you are looking to get your feet wet, Matt Fugazzi has taken the guess work out! Probably the least likely to fail exotic kits available! But I do love me some Lambo!!!  ::wave

Hi there guys. I am just looking to get started on my first Lamborghini build. I really want to do a Gallardo build. But having a hard time finding body kits. So any help would be great. I don't want a turnkey car. I want to do 100% of the work.
So thanks guys and hope to hear from yall soon.

US_Army_Okie

why not just buy this? http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e4s1&lotId=30286334&returnPage=SEARCH_RESULTS (http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e4s1&lotId=30286334&returnPage=SEARCH_RESULTS)

instead of spending 50K on building a replica

I want to build because I have the time and that cars current bid is over $37K right now. Plus I'm 29 years old so that insurance would kill me lol
