 if you are using Vintage Air system , somebody told me the OEM Compressor does not work well with the VA, should get a vintage Air compressor. now on 3.8 S/C the compressor does not fit needs a new mounting bracket. what I did is mod my original to fit VA .

I would cross reference refrigerant pressure between the OEM and the Vintage. The TXV ( regulating refrigerant flow for cooling ) valve should work, if the pressures are relatively close.
