Hey all,
My name is Gabe and I'm from Southern California. Rancho Cucamonga to be exact. I've been wanting to build a Lambo "clone" for almost ten years now. I actually ran across this site by chance while googling Fiero exhaust upgrades for my 2M6 but am so stoked I found you guys. I hope to accuire a kit soon and know your collective experience will be of great value to me.
Anyhow, CHEERS! ::beers

Welcome, do you know what model you would like to build?
-
Welcome! There are several members in Southern California. This hobby is so much fun. :)

Hi guys thanks!
Autopro, I was thinking about a Diablo SV or VT or MAYBE a roadster. It all depends on what I can get my hands on... Ever since I went to the Kit Car show at Knotts Berry Farm here in SoCal, I fell in Love with the NAERC roadster. And I believe it was Ken I spoke with who was extremely helpful and seemed like high quality and accuracy. Then along came Audi and kind of crushed my dreams. Now I'm just looking to see what I can get my hands on and afford to get in my garage.

Welcome, Wookie. Lots of info on here. Don't get caught up with name calling. Make use of the search button and if you can't find it just ask. There are a small group of Diablo builders who are still in progress on this forum. Take it slow and have fun. Don't forget your family.

Hi Jim, thanks for the welcome. Name calling as in "keyboard attacks" against other members? Thank you for the heads up, it's not my style though. 8) I'm only 37 but im pretty mello and try to treat everyone with respect. ::thumbup I guess I dont have to build a diablo if there are any other "accurate" looking models out there. Not a huge fan of the Coutach though.

Glad to have you here.
The last factory Diablo was built about fifteen years ago but the style is ageless.
I like mine but also like every one since.
Let's face it, ANY Lamborghini is going to attract attention.
I hope you have what it takes to build and finish.
