So i was wetsanding and buffing and polishing the car and some of the residue from the buffing compound got into the honeycomb area on my grilles. See pic. I know i know, seems like not a big deal, but it's difficult to get anything in there to clean them and very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on what to use. I tried putting a rag on the end of a screw driver but to no avail as it is too difficult to get in the corners. Thanks.

Your local ACE hardware should have a variety of round brushes (kinda like large pipe cleaners) that should help you out.

Yeah that's kinda what i was hopig to find but didn't know where to look. Thanks.

try a water hose just spay it. it will run out . I found out at a car show one day when it rained rear hard,
compound came out of everywhere it was hiding.

Tried that first and it didn't even phase it. I shouldn't have let it dry overnight i guess. But all the wet sanding in the heat wore me out.

hot soapy water and a tooth brush. Never let compound dry!

Thanks Robert. Yeah, i learned the hard way. Seems i do that a lot. Anyhow, i used a bit out of my gun cleaning kit that is a small rod with cotton or wool material. Worked pretty good. I still got some on some of my other trim that i will use a toothbrush and hot soapy water for sure. Thanks again.
