Hello friends. I would like to build their own taillight. Housing already have (model from cnc, final housing fiberglass). And I do not want to invent already invented. Therefore, I would like to ask the tread on what parts to order (spider bulb,led diodes). we could form a complete data sheet for complete back light. Maybe it intends to produce a complete taillight including housing. I've already made the first form but proved that the shape is too complex and so I have to make a multipart forms :-) I was also grateful for the info the position of individual bulbs or other experience with production taillights type LP640  ..... pictures tomorrow.

First picture housing out of mold. Very bad quality mold, bad surface. Not problem for me. A little more work for me :-) nothing in life is not free. Important OEM shape.. ::thumbup

    Looks good so far.  What were you planning on doing for the turn signal and reverse light area?

Why red? Under a red plexiglass can be white. Will shine more.

Oh i wasn't thinking about the color. I was thinking about the shape. I'm sure you can get them in white too.

Layout bulbs?

schedule material for one lamp
classic light 2x middle (spider bulb)
brake light outside (....bulb)
fog light inside (...bulb)
signal light 6x outside
reverse light 4xinside

I got some oems mounted in my car if you need measurements. I can't take them off the car or open them up.

The first sample . The first swallow . I have to make a new form , a different style gluing plexiglass . Glue destroys paint on buckets. But are fully functional integral lights :-) good for me so far and I could go on and show the way ::beers

I will produce a new version . Improved . Improved quality .

Price including lamps and brackets will be 800 usd

Looks great. How did you make the back half of the lens? Especially the turn and reverse light section, there's so much detail.
