Hello, What are builders using for the interior trim pieces for the sill, pillars and sun visor area. Modified OEM?
thanks SM

I am using copies of the OEM trim pieces. I have all those molds except for the sill covers which were recently misplaced >:(

Mine was molded from OEM panels.

With a JW body I think you can use the OEM molded pieces as it is an OEM size body. A G28 not so much OEM.
Anybody here have a G28? and how much modification to OEM molded parts needs to be done or is that even feasible?
Thanks

Has anyone tried the oem pieces with the G28 yet? I need to get A pillar and roof trim soon so I can build the metal framework that will support the windshield and body. I want to make sure my framework will be hidden under the trim. Does anyone make the roof trim for the G28?

Those look great, I definitely need the A pillars, roof, rear window frame, and rocker pieces. I'm just having a hard time with the shipping cost from over seas. I hate to do it to you but let me give those in the US a chance in case I can get a better price with shipping. I don't mean to be rude, I just have a tight budget to get this build done.

Just make your own, that's what I did. Do your framing first and keep it tight to the roof an A Pillars, mock up your covers and build them in place using 1/8" mdf. When everything fits and lines up, pop them out and pull a mold from them

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely try to pull this off. I have much more time than money. :LL:
