Post by: minihawn on January 06, 2016, 04:18:49 PM
I bought this partial build and the previous owner had these wires labeled "clutch pedal". Now once I remove that small circular wire at the front of the connector the car will not start but once I reposition that small piece of wire the car starts fine is anyone have a clue what this is is it stock  "Stock"

It most likely plugs into a switch that is operated by the clutch pedal.  Look up at the clutch pedal for the switch.

Ya those are wires to your clutch safety start switch, pretty common feature on your 1980 plus vehicles.  Sometimes people might bypass them for remote start, guess you can't forget to leave it in neutral with the E-Brake on while having that feature.  Lol
