Title: Window lift motors
Post by: Ccemn1 on October 13, 2017, 08:12:10 AM
I recently purchased an IFG, Fiero based Diablo. The passenger side window barely works and often gets stuck.
Does anyone know if they used the original Fiero lift motors on these? It looks like I'm going to have to replace the motor and was wondering if anyone had any Info on this?
Thanks.

it would help if you can remove the door panel or they also call it door card, take a picture and let us see. many of us use all kind of window regulator and motor.

On my IFG roadster, they supplied a cable drive system. Pictures here http://www.lambobuilder.com/windows.html (http://www.lambobuilder.com/windows.html)

It functioned but I would recommend other alternatives.

Take the door panel off and take a picture.  The Nissan maxima rear window motors will probably be the easiest to retro fit in a finished car.

I would say use the 91-96 ford thunderbird window motors and regulators, mine are from a 96, and they work great!, they go up and down very quickly, and I recommend silicone lube on the entire track frame.
