Title: What's up guys! My 6.0 wiper arm built from scratch.
Post by: lambo_sam on February 13, 2020, 03:55:27 PM
Well I'm not sure if any of you noticed but I never had a wiper arm on my car. I had a portion of a pre-2000 wiper arm with the dual CF deflectors but I never finished building it because it just was not era correct to the 2001 6.0 design,

So a few weeks ago I said I am going to finally take on the fun little challenge to build one from scratch! Below is the latest pic of it’s completion, I am using some temporary hardware in some areas until I get the good stuff…

I started of with making cardboard templates and close up pics I took of a few oem 6.0’s, And I am almost done with it
and now working on the single deflector that this wiper arm uses, and it will be in carbon fiber instead of all black like OEM.

More pics and a video of the entire build are at the link below, hope you enjoy!

Due to lack of X-ray vision (and a touch of elder age) I took the liberty of lightening up Sam's picture for us old men.
Super job, Sam!!! ::thumbup

That wiper arm looks awesome! I just picked up a kit and will need to fabricate something like that. If you are up for it some day when this covid thing passes, I would love to come check it out.

Thanks!!! What kit did you pick up? any pics? Might I suggest you create a pic diary like in Flickr, (if you haven't done so), and you can post pics on here.

To be honest I don’t even know.. I will post pics on here soon though. I just picked it up in San Bernardino though. Don’t want to hijack your thread so I will start a build thread. Great work on your 6.0 though. Beautiful!

I know this post is old, but who sells the 6.0 wiper arm kits?
