Title: Should I bid on this tesla roadster?
Post by: dratts on December 21, 2012, 08:45:07 AM
eBay roadster for $34,950.  Does it look like too much damage?  The right rear quarter panel is what concerns me.  The wheel looks ok so maybe the suspension is alright.  I put in a lowball offer for the 2008 that was declined.  I'm thinking that these cars are going to be very collectable in a few years.

I think the sale is over.  Like some have said, it might be risky to buy a tesla or Elise with possible frame damage due to their all aluminum composite frame construction. I've backed off a few deals for this reason.

Yes I agree, but I did see a tesla on there with no damage starting bid was $55,000.
