Welcome to the forum and good luck with your project!

The best advice I can give would be to start by doing lots of research. There is no one best way to build a car, it'll be up to you to figure out what works best for you. Be prepared that this project will likely take many years of hard work and won't be cheap. The final cost will be up to you.... it'll depend a lot on how close you want to get to the oem look, but will still cost much more than you anticipate. Your skill set will drive the project. Be prepared to take time to learn skills that you don't already have.

Only about 3% of these projects ever get finished. If you focus on the end product, frustration will likely set in and you'll walk away. If you focus on the love of the car building process, you'll be rewarded. Break the project into tiny manageable chunks. That way you can set little/ realistic goals and you'll always be making progress.

Good luck and have fun!

Would you recommend the Audi 4.2 with the deleted rear output auto transaxle?
Seems like an economical package with great sound and output if the trans holds up.

I was hoping it would have hung around until I had some money to spend on it. But congrats on the sale.
