I got 4 because they were there and cheap.  I also knew someone here would want them and I was right, they are already spoken for  ::tongue

I'm not too worried about the speed of the motors, that's something you can control very easy.  They seem strong enough, besides the batwings aren't very heavy and they withstand the wind pressure on the vans with no problems.

Congratz! Why did you get 4 latches? Just to have some spares? Will the Windstar motors be the correct speed? Will they be strong enough?
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

Not bad for an hour spent at the junkyard today.  I was able to find four door latches and strickers from a 1965 Mercedes 280 se and the vent window motors for my batwings from a 2000 Ford Windstar.
