We still need to find somebody near Batavia Ohio! If we could save the shipping/crating fee that Autotemp charges, it would bring the cost of the glass down dramatically.

Yeah, Mike's deal is only for coupe glass. I guess it is still a little more complicated than I had hoped. Too many versions of glass on these things!

Sure. I understand and agree completely what you are saying. My comment was just a real-world example of how cheap this group buy is.

I wasnt refering that link for the price, more for the shape/size. :) Im sure the 850i window glass could be found cheaper elsewhere or even local for some folks. It might be worth checking out if the group buy doesnt happen or someone isnt willing to wait....

BigPines out of your numbers there, how many are coupe and roadsters? Its my understanding that Mike only has the molds at the glass company for coupe glass. Correct me if I am wrong but all members that are looking for roadster glass will have to pay the setup fee and start from scratch....?  ::scratch

Has anyone tried window glass from a BMW 850i?
