Go to ALLDATAdiy.com and register.  http://www.alldatadiy.com/  Add a vehicle (Land Rover) for $26.95 (if it is the first vehicle that you have registered, $16.95 for each additional).  Look up the schematics, print out, and you should be rock n roll.

I think it would be reasonably easy to suss out the other pins once you found the correct pin for power in, just by seeing which pin went hot when you pressed a given button.  But I'm worried about trying to find that power pin, that if I start indiscriminately putting 12V on the wrong pin, I might burn out something and ruin the whole part.  I found wiring diagrams for the AC on a Rover 45, but for an older model, where the switches were configured differently, so it doesn't really reveal anything.  Still searching, but haven't found the right diagram yet.

Good points Digibeam. There are actually several buttons that have slightly different markings. That is too bad but it is still definitely a part of interest. I think I'll move it to that section of my thread.

Dwafford, I wouldn't think it would be that tough to figure out how to hook this up. One could just get the blower, etc from the same vehicle and/or look at the wiring diagrams for that vehicle. If it was a US vehicle, I may be able to get the info. It may be a bit more of a challenge being that it is a European part only.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

Does anyone know riceburner or how to contact him?  I discovered this control unit through a thread of his, and sent him a PM, but haven't heard back from him, nor has he posted replies to messages on that thread (on KC).  If someone knows how to contact him, he might be willing to share how to wire this, but then again he may not, because he had one for sale, and I don't know how often he tries to sell one.

That's a cool find. Please post some updates once you figure out how to wire it. It will be very helpful for a lot of us.

only issue i see there is the fan control buttons on the left side are not round and the car icon obviously doesnt look like the Murci for again obvious reasons, but other than that it looks like the same model for sure.

Wow, thanks dwafford! I didn't know about this. I will look for one. I have also added it to the Off-the-Shelf Parts for the Murcielago thread.

That's the one.  I've attached a photo of the one I bought.  It fits a Rover 45, which I think was produced like 2000-2005 or thereabouts.  I bought mine on ebay.uk - that's where you need to search; they weren't sold in the US.  I hope you get one, and then maybe you can help me find out or figure out how to wire it!

Very interesting. Can you provide any other details? I'd love to see a pic and get info on the years this part appeared on the Rover. The Murci part I have seen looks like this: http://m.ebay.com/itm/380649493236?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1 does your part look the same?

It looks like the Murci part, and also the Diablo 6.0.  I'm putting it into a Roadster, but I'm using the 6.0 dash and tunnel switches and instruments.

Do you mean the Rover part looks just like the Countach part or the Murci part?

Yeah, I saw that, and was planning to buy it from him, but I sent him a PM back in early December.  Haven't heard from him, and he hasn't posted to that string again since then.  So I found this one, but now I've got to figure out how to wire it.

I have bought a Rover climate control panel that looks just like the Murci panel.  Does anyone have advice or experience in wiring this to control a Vintage A/C unit?  Thanks!
