Looks fantastic, hands down  :noteworthy Go with AC you won't retreat it... Remember last year when you were burning up and were asking us about it? Turbo is just gonna break something  :LL:

cmarens thats sad, tony id go with the AC no brainer. ;)

Totally joking LP640. I love my wife at least as much as I love my AC. I think I would still go with the turbo though. If it is too hot to drive I would probably be at the pool watching the kids anyway.
Kind Regards,

Chris

So either do the blah A/C and not melt my stones off this summer and go into cruise mode or break out the boost and shread the rear tires and possibly the trans in the first day..... hmmm.... Boost it is~

If you have been married as long as I have, the stones are in your wife's purse in the AC kitchen....

BOOOOOOOST
Kind Regards,

Chris

thanks for the comments! Im now trying to decide what project to do next, the A/C system or do the turbo..... Both are going to be about equal amount of work as I got about 80% of what I need to complete each project. I got a big box from Vintage Air but going to need to make some custom hoses and some fab work.

Doing the A/C makes more responceable sense and the car is pretty quick already and with the nitrous thats on there now it will move out about as fast as I want. But the key word is "about" as fast as I want. Doing the turbo will no doubt put the car into freakazoid territory but Im sure I will start breaking expensive stuff in no time.

So either do the blah A/C and not melt my stones off this summer and go into cruise mode or break out the boost and shread the rear tires and possibly the trans in the first day..... hmmm.... Boost it is~

Well pretty much done with the Plasti-Dip paint job, over all it came out pretty good. I can say you really have to be really carefull around it. Its pretty easy to skuff, nick, or just mess it up... The wife was bringing in some groceries thru the garage and brushed against the car and it left some small skuff marks.... But it pretty much looks the same as it did before just with a more matte/satin look instead of a glossy look..

Like everyone said those ebay mirrors were a no go, they are not bad $45.00 mirrors but they dont fit my Diablo for do-do... So I ended up fixing those POS mirrors I got... Again for the 3rd or 4th time...

All is left to do is dip my rear wing, it too needed some attention after falling off the paint stand. Little more sanding (oh how I love sanding!!!) next week and I will throw it back on.

Went out for a little drive since it was a nice evening and I was depressed that I cant go to TX2K14.....
Im sorry these pics look kinda funky, they were shot in raw format and were batch converted into jpgs in an auto setting so they havnt been officially edited yet~

Between the cold weather and my business I still havnt finished my plasti-dip on my Roadster. I got the car put back together but still need to spray the matte black along the bottom. I ordered those cheap ebay mirrors and they should be here tomorrow so I will know then if I will be able to put those on or use them to fix my orginal mirrors.

I ran across this pic of another replica that had the bottom of their Roadster done in black but done a little differently. Does anyone have any more pics of this car? Should I do black area on that car to mine or do the entire rocker like before?

I just noticed that it says "Roaster" instead of Roadster along the bottom... WTF???

Tonypaul:  No kidding this time.  What ever you decide, I'm sure that it will be a head turner sure.  I would keep the oem style mirrors though.  RT has mirrors that flip up.  Check them out.

Just a word of caution on the new mirrors.
They must be a left mirror and a right mirror.  I know that sounds obvious but they have a different angle for the mirror to driver and are an as-shown and an opposite-hand to make matching styles for each side of the car.
Also, the angle of the base mount and the way the angle of the mirror sticks out to the side could make the mirror look crooked when mounted on the door.
Other than that, it sounds like you are not trying to make the build an exact replica so go with what works.
Sorry to hear about all the issues with your paint.  Your car looks good.

It isn't enough to want a Lambo, you have to want to BUILD A CAR.

True on the mirrors. Sounds like you really can't lose.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?
