I didn't install the glass yet.  I just kinda placed it there for pictures.  I think it could be moved further forward.  I was wondering how the factory glass is installed.  Maybe I will leave out the gasket and just silicone in place then. I will play around with it this weekend.

That looks great but I believe the glass should be mounted farther forward and for OEM the glass sits on the top side of the frame area of the quarter and is siliconed in place then the trim parts are siliconed in place over the edges etc.

Hey guys I just thought I would share this.
I just bought two quater glass windows from a 2009 scion Xd
They are pretty darn close and curvature is right there to.  For me I would rather make these fit then go with lexan. I paid 30 bucks for each shipped on ebay.
They came with window gaskets to. Not sure if I will use the gaskets or not yet. My body is an oem copy but I would think they could be made to fit the g28 as well.
