In hindsight, after doing all the hacking and mod's on a 25 year old Fiero, I would've started with a custom frame if I had it all to do over again.  Cliff sells a OEM spec frame if you are interested.  It even has all the OEM mounting points for the body panels which would make assembly a heck of a lot easier.

I think it would be less work than reworking everything on the fiero.

It looks like when I put my g28 body on a boxster. I felt like I would be driving with my head in the quarter window. I hate to say this, but did you consider building a chassis!
