Wookie...for the JAG management, check megasquirt model MS3-PRO they are an open source, afordable and even better support.
If you need an adapter plate with an Audi transaxle (recomend 01X, 6 speed non quatro) probably other brands Eric martin in texas...pretty good, serious guy afordable prices. if you are interested here is his email
eric@kitcarchassis.com
tell him that "the guy  with the northstar engine and the 01X gave me your info"

Ok thanks guys.
And Adrian, that makes complete sense. After all, the Jag is all hood. Lol I was just tossing the idea around and appreciate all the feedback.

the jag 12 is HUGE, I dont think it will work in a donor not to mention the weight.  I think Nick could help with an adapter to the Audi box, but I honestly think it is going to be to long to fit, it is several inches longer than the other 12's out there

Jaguar V12 and engine management?

Hey Guys,

Just doing some homework. I tried looking for the answer to this but couldnt find it so I thought I'd post.

So I have an 85 Jag XJS and was wondering if the V12 from that car would be a viable powerplant for a diablo build? I "heard" it already uses a ford or chevy trans so locating an adapter plate shouldnt be too hard. And second, what are people using for V12 engine management?
