My best advice to newbies is that these cars, though replicas are not cheap. Get into school or community college and learn how to weld and do bodywork. Whatever you can't do you'll have to buy or pay someone to make it for you. Don't want o discourage you but building a car for 10,000 dollars is not going to happen. On the plus side, technology has come along way. We have forums, youtube, skype to post questions and look at videos. I learned alot from reading magazines, kit car, trucking, hot rods, lowrider, etc. Hit a used bookstore and buy these magazines. Cut the pages out of the important stuff and make a binder of tips.
