4T60 none electric on the stock fiero engine

this swap will give the fiero overdrive ,which should decrease high way cruising rpm,s to around 1800-2000 on the rpm gauge @ 70mph

this 4T60 econo box swap increase engine life ,and save on petro

1992 buick regal transmission , I've read that the Pontiac 6000 axles are a direct fit using a 4T60 transmission
MPG reported in the low to upper 30's using the 4T60 Trans

4T60 GM 4 speed transmissions in the 87 through mid nineties Buick Century, Olds Cutlass Cierra , Chevrolets Celebrity etc. If the car had the 4 speed option it would be the 4T60. You can tell this transmission as its the only GM trans that ever had both a vacuum modulator and a TV cable
get the brackets off of a 4T60 or 4T60E, they will match up to the chassis side Fiero trans mounts. The rear mount lines up exactly, the front mount may need to be moved 1 3/8" inboard.

The shift lever will need to be refabricated to make it point toward the engine, rather than to the outside of the car. The shift cable bracket can be fabbed out of your 125 bracket and the 4T60 bracket. The Fiero shift cable will work fine.

This is a great swap, you will like the performance and the better gas mileage
