Bobbj,
That is a good question. Most of the Forum knows that I am developing my own car, and when I am asked what the hardest part of project is, I say that it was the sun visors. Many searches failed to turn up a double articulated hinge that I could start building them from, and other searches only had two street rod shops that specialize in them, but both shops wanted over $300 a pair. I just could not do that. I also looked for something in aircraft supply, thinking I could get something on a long rod that would go anywhere on that huge windshield. I know it exists, but could not find a supplier. This is what I came up with, and I am well pleased with it, but I had to buy a crate of them. $20 each, I would like to sell a few hundred.
