Slow going on the REDO  :o

Got the new steering column and the intermediate shaft in. thought about putting the new light and turn signal switches in, but decided to use the old ones for now.

The light switch had the purple wire cut and another wire was attached to it when everything was plugged in on the original setup.  Not sure what that is about but we will find out  :LL:

Not sure what the deal was but had a heck of time with the two nuts., sometimes it takes 3 times as long to do... for no apparent reason  888o  :LL:

Tested out the brake pedal with no binding or rubbing. The way the old uncompressed sebring column was installed, it had a funky lower bracket that had to be cut out as it interfered with the brake pedal ;D

Well after almost a month off, I need to get the mojo level up, and get back on the redo ::zzzzz

Used 3M windo-weld to affix the glass to the headlight tub. Waited 48 hours for max bond.

Pretty happy how it came out.

Now I have das Stoßstange, I will have to REDO the front structure. So out with the old.

At least the old frame plus a 2x4 holds the bumper at a close height to get an idea of what it looks like.

working on the eyebrow. Rage, Sand, Evercoat, Sand, Prime, Sand, Prime Sand.

Put on a coat of rattle can black just so the imperfections could be seen.

It pretty close, will take back down and final after Xmas.  :santa

Mocked it up.  Will have to figure some way to get the eyebrow exactly where I want it for gluing.   ::scratch ::study
