The HID H3 bulb connectors came in the mail today .

The Hella Micro DE is the projector that I am using for my fog lights

An aluminum bracket was made to hold the bulb in place, using the existing screws, as the base of the HID bulb is longer than the halogen

Both headlights are finally done  8)  They easily go in and out of the car, and the electrics connect and disconnect quickly.

Just need the H3 bulb connectors, Do final test and then store in a safe place   :o

Pretty happy with how they turned out. A bit of time was spent on these, for sure  :LL:

The old exhaust didnt have a flex pipe in it so one was purchased.

It hung down too low and didn't line up with the opening in the back of the car. After making a few measurements,  the pipe was cut and welded back together.

Turned out pretty decent and lines up well.

Just need to mount the metal replica LP640 exhaust tip...after I REDO the finish and make a bracket to mount the tip  ::toothy

While waiting on my H3 bulb plugs the H1 ballast and relays were mounted

Wanted to clean up the wiring in the front trunk.  I used the same wire loom wrap that the HID system came with.

Before and after Pictures. you can see all the HID wiring laying there :LL:

Much better! ::toothy

With the signals working, Time to get the headlights up and running.

The morimoto system is pretty straight forward and worked right out of the box in a quick test using the Fiero wiring and Sebring steering column

My projector has a shutter and was wired to the high beam switch.

I'm using a 13 pin trailer plug to run all my wiring into the headlight enclosure. For some reason the HID light would not work using this plug so the two wires were ran through the headlight housing.  These holes will be sealed later.

It was very tedious and took some time to test each connection into and out of the Plug.  It will make it quicker to remove the headlight unit from the car.

Shout to Murci-Me for some guidance on the signal, test tube and side marker light wiring 8) ::salute

The fog light will be controlled from the dash switch to the left of the Steering.  As usual need one part to complete this.  ::toothy

Just came back from a visit down to OKC.  Just getting back to the REDO.

I have an issue with the signals. Running lights work great.  Test light lights, going into the flasher is super bright, but coming out it is rather dim regardless of the signal switch is in the on or off position.

There is power coming out of the signal switch for left and right, when turned on just no signal.  I think I have a ground issue or continuity issue.   ::scratch
