I'm not sure about the molds, a few years ago he had it, and the glass only from him. I was lucky I bought all the glass before he took over the account and made it only from him

Tommy Forester has built Lambo replicas in Ashville North Carolina. Total Performance is the business name I believe. They bought D & R molds and built them for awhile. Might be an option or he may know other reputable replica builders.

Eddie, do you know the story on the NAERC molds and parts now that Ron has passed? I know he built NAERC cars but   wondered if he was actually the owner of the molds.

Isn't there anyone in the South Eastern US who builds Fiero Based Lambos?
I would think Miami should have a few, considering all of the fabulous cars I've seen there?

This is the letter that was going to accompany the car being sent back to Ron Dolling, at Ron's Toy Store in Canada.
Ron,
Here’s a partial list of the stuff that needs to be done to this car. Probably the most labor intensive and time consuming, is the wiring. I have no objection to you tearing everything out, and running a whole new harness, if that makes life easier for you. It might even be a necessity! They have everything so screwed up, it’s unbelievable. Two switches for the headlights, one to turn them on, the other to raise & lower them. Then, the windows only work when the headlights are on, same for the new stereo & back up camera. All parking lights, tail lights, brake lights, etc. are on, all the time, any time the ignition is on. At start up, the windshield wiper cycles one time. I’m guessing the battery could be moved back to its rear position, behind the access cover, where it looks like it was originally located. Feel free to remove any & all heating & AC components, as I’ll be using neither here in Florida. Please see why the right rear is sagging; you had mentioned it might be the motor cradle?
You told me the window motors don’t need replacement, but I lubed the hell out of the tracks and you still have to pull them up with your hands. The door lift cylinders should be replaced also. I took the old Dash & gauges out, but the new one that I bought from you, requires some slight alteration to fit, which I know you would do a much better job of than me. The front suspension lift bags & switches need connection. Right front pneumatic line is blown off & there’s a toggle switch in the engine compartment, on the motor mount that operates it.
Please install the LED headlights I’ve provided & fog lights, & hook up the wire I installed for the Escort radar detector that’s hanging out near the rear view mirror, to something that is hot only with ignition on, which would be the end, located under the dash. Need Fiero steering column installed & Lambo steering wheel I bought from you, along with sun Visors I purchased from you, all installed
I’ll need you to purchase the correct exhaust tips and install them, and I’d like to purchase a pair of the plugs that fill the rear roof top attachment openings. As usual, feel free to call me anytime, should you have any questions.
Chris Capp, 239-699-6900   Thanks Ron.

I was considering Mike, but heard a horror story from another member, claiming it took him 3 years & a law suit to get his car back.

Check with Kitcar Mike or Mike Vetter. He is in your area and has been doing kit cars since the 1990s. He might be able to help you out. ::beers

If not I'll be out there in the spring time. Not sure how far you are from Davenport.

I have a beautiful Ron Dolling Diablo Roadster. I got it relatively cheap, because it was stolen, trashed, then repurchased at insurance auction. The gentleman who purchased it, had a newer 3.8 SC Gran Prix engine & Trans installed, and replaced a lot of stuff with things he purchased from Ron Dolling. I live in Key West, which is paradise, but a total wasteland as far as finding a competent mechanic. I've gone through 6 of them so far. The car is running & drivable, but I need someone familiar with Fiero/Diablo conversions to do more work on it.
Can anyone recommend a reasonable, competent builder in the South East US that I might use?
I'd even consider paying them, AND putting someone up in my 3 bed 2 bath home, with garage containing 3 lifts, including a 4 poster, and give them a Moto to use while living there doing the work, if they'd like a vacation in paradise. I'm almost desperate, I've had the car 3 years and have barely put 100 miles on it.
Thanks in advance.
