Here are two thoughts that might be a direction. 01 mentions in Post #25 about Proglass and Lexan. Five Star Racecar Bodies will engineer and make molded Lexan windows a few at a time, no large production run. Talk to Phil, 262-877-2171. Also, here is a Maurauder window from Pilkington. This is the car very similar to a Countach and the one that is frequently confused as Pilkington's Countach door glass. It has a nice shape and curvature, and is readily available.

Hi Eddie,
The Sebring glass I mentioned as a possibility is from the 2001-2005 Sebring coupe only.  It is a different shape than the picture you posted. That looks like 2001- 2006 Sebring sedan front glass which as you mentioned wouldn't work. Hard to tell how different the curvature towards the front would be from lambo glass by pictures alone obviously. Probably closer to the Gallardo shape . It is one of the few coupe glasses I have seen that is vertical on the rear and not sloped back like most coupes like a honda civic for example which has a steep windshield rake like a lambo.

Here is a link to the glass I thought may be an option on ebay.

I don't think the Sebring glass would be good to use as

In looking for glass options for a custom build with possible Murci/ Gallardo inspired body style the 2 best options I came across were the Scion TC and 2001 Sebring LXI coupe. I never had the opportunity to measure either car but shape wise they are similar and definitely look like something worth investigating. Could be an option with modification.
It worked for the Locus Plethore supercar. Look at a side view of it and a 2000-2006 Toyota Celica. Same door and quarter glass it appears.

Wow. From the looks of it that Toyota/Scion glass might be a better option than Saturn. I wish we could have a picture of one on top of the other to really see the difference.

If the missis isn't happy with your repair work around the house; try using colored duct tape!   (sounds like a Red/Green comment)

While we're at it, how about someone posting the width and height of the Murcie/Reveton door glass.  I may have another angle to throw out on here as a Harwood 3/16 Lexan door window on Summit or Jegs sites.

I am trying to get info from ProGlass who makes door Lexan with UV and scratch resistant treatments.  They come in 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 sizes and proper curvature.  We all need cost cutting options.

eddie: the only winner on this forum is the member who is given great advice and uses it to his advantage.  Technology is always changing and is not readily available to the public.  So, given that we (builders of replicas) need less expensive parts, we may be able to trim a laminated door window (if possible) to fit our needs.  The glass will probably have to come from a 2-door as they have larger door glass.  The beat goes on.

Eddie, don't mean to be piling on, but it is not a law that side glass must break into zillions of pieces. Title 51 of the US Transportation Code says that it must not shatter into shards, but it does not have to shatter at all. Lexan (polycarbonate) and other materials are perfectly legal. In the EU, polycarbonate has been approved for windshields and the US is expected to do the same in 2018. Next year there will be polycarbonate windows in the new Mustang, along with an optional polycarbonate hood. Windshields are made using laminate because safety glass will not stand up to rocks. They would shatter all the time instead of just cratering or cracking.

ok then ,you won . reason why I said that we toss away lot of  glass in garbage bin when doors are replace and no matter how hard it wont break compare to windshields that a little tap and it cracks. so there must be different way of laminating?

Jim are you sure about the laminated glass ? can you name any? cause its a law ,glass  must brake in zilions pieces for easy exit during side impact .
so goes for rear glass. only windshield is laminated so it does not injured driver and next to him during collision.
ps I'm in Auto Body biz for 35 years never yet seen  laminated side glass and as you see on my post cars I've painted, from very high end cars to Huyndais
but again I could be wrong , all I know in Canuck Land it's a law.
