Restructured the gas cylinder area for more tire clearance.  Mounted wipers, and mounted clutch cylinder.

Live and learn.  Changed where the gas cylinders for the doors go based on others builds.  Now the doors open and close easy peasy!

I had not glued the hood together, and so it was sagging in the middle, and making the gap look much worse.  Once i fixed that and moved it down there basically is only enough gap for the wipers. I will throw the hood back on and take some pics for you.

My mistake. I think I'd looked at your first windshield pic before you slid it down. It looked like there was a much larger gap.
 My windshield stops around where the bottom black frit paint starts on your windshield (as on the later pic).

From the model I have it is only 1" shorter than what I have as OEM, 41" top to bottom.  Curvature is darn perfect. It also has the cut away on the drivers side for the wipers.

Did you ever look at a 2000 Infiniti i30 windshield? My kit was modified to use it specifically. It's close to OEM but about 6" shorter at the bottom.... similar to what you appear to be using.  I'm not sure if it would be easier to tweak your window frame to take it instead of cutting glass. Just a thought.

That is a very good fit. I cut mine at the local place that has a water jet cutting machine. No cracks :)
