What are the best mirrors and motors to use (for the LP640 mirrors (Robs))?

Also, are there any details for cutting them for converting to folding mirrors?

Which part? did you try the motors that connect to the mirror switch?

I think you are asking about how to attach the new mirror glass to the power mirror motor inside the housing.
Use silicone. Use popsicle sticks and tape to hold it in place for 12 hours.

This is correct.  I've already made my mounts for the mirror housing and the mechanics inside I just didn't know what adhesive to use for the actual glass mirror.  I re-read my question and realized it was a bit vague......Sorry.  Thanks alot.

For the rear view mirror that's attached to the windshield, 3M makes a two part adhesive that works very well in all temperatures.  As for the side mirrors, I agree with Jim that setting and bonding some studs in mirror bases and then using these to bolt the mirrors to the door is the best way to secure them and this always gives you a way of removing them later on (repairs, painting, servicing).

How about putting nuts on the studs or doesn't your mirrors use studs?  What year Lamborghini are you referring to?  Jim

It's for the Mercy2 or G28,  Replica rear view side mirrors, I took the guts out of a Saturn mirror and cut it down and mounted that piece inside the Replica mirror body, then I made a template and had a glass company cut me some glass and I just need to use some kind of adhesive to mount this glass to the rotator piece

This is for the side mirrors

I've heard 3m double sided tape, silicone glue, epoxy, polyurethane sealant, super weatherstripping,,,,,,what's the best to use though?  Thanks
