Everything should be back to normal and all pictures and avatars back to their original locations.  I've also added some Avatars to the site Avatar library in case anyone would like to use one.

Steps for adding an Avatar:

1. Log into you account

2. Go to the Profile link at the top of the page

3. Select Forum Profile

4. In the Avatar section, you can choose an avatar from our library / gallery or use an Avatar from a URL or upload a picture of your own.  The picture will be reduced down to 65x65 pixels so remember that small detail could be lost.

Save and you are done.

Chris

Hey Mike,  Your bio says that you are 112.  She looks to be a little young for you.  Did you come to Carlisle last year?
Chris, I just reloaded my avatar.  Hope that's OK.  Jim

That's fine Jim and I'm really sorry that the web host is taking so long to restore a couple folders (it's beginning to tick me off frankly!).   >:(

When I met Mike this last summer, I would've swore that he wasn't a day over 98 years old.   ::tongue

WHAT???  You lost my knuckle dragging, coffee drinking, moldy green furry skinned avatar???  I want my membership fees returned in full!  Oh, I forgot, I didn't pay any.  Oooops!  My BAD.   ::headbang ::bounce ::rocker ::zzzzz  (Please disregard this message as the author is under extreme stress)

Jim

As soon as my hosting service gets around to restoring a SQL database and the folder that held the pictures, we'll have everything back up and running like before.  I learned the hard way that Filezilla FTP will corrupt certain files accidentally when uploading them to the server.  It was a little unknown problem that I've now become very aware of.  :)

Thanks,

Chris

Members,

Tonight I moved the site to a new server and for the most part the move should be invisible to most of you.  After the move I noticed a problem with some of the pictures (attachments) and member avatars not showing up so I've been working on it.  I've found out that an FTP program I'm using has a tendency to corrupt image files.  I've put in a request to the web host to rebuild my folders on the old server so I'm able to grab a clean version of those files and get them updated on the new server ASAP.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Chris
