That's cool , my only intention is to answer the query that was raised - my trouble is that in messages I come across a bit harsh because I am being factual with the information I have.
My reasons for finding replica parts is because of the genuine parts I have bought , such as the boot carpet and front trim which the catches pass through. That is why I couldn't agree more about buying the 'right parts' to save time / money.
A modest amount of research for example came up with me buying the Diablo 6.0 seatbelt set new , a huge saving over the murcie set and the only discernable difference is the warning light switch on the passenger buckle.

carless what the latches look like for me its about function and also a BIG BIG issue is time as well, everyone on here as different ways of fabing,doing and finishing their cars, some guys want it perfect, some want it done quickly and  others just want something to do no matter how long it takes because it is a way to get away from the wife,lol, regardless of the reasons I think there is allot of talented guys on this site that can build and fab things and yes Tallon my car as gotten out of hand but when I go to sell it hopefully it will pay off. This build will have a complete build diary that I will be more then happy to share, I have a guy in the office doing research on equvilant parts to the OEM ones I have purchased so they can be offered in a complete kit setup so guys don't have to look for parts that will work and then spend the time trying to find them. I can say this from experince that the kit car industry has not had the best reputation over the years and hopefully once we get everything done we can share the info so builders can find and buy parts that will work and get their cars built quicker. Please don't think I take offense to anything that is said because each guy here as their own reason to do it their way.

I just meant fab the mount that the citroen catch swings on :\ but I guess that catch doesn't look that much like oem, what I think about is oem stuff that I want more like the seat belt set :)

I've never had a metal shop to go to either so never had the privilege of having anything done or to know what it would cost. I do get some metal where I work though so I'm not too S.O.L.
Would be nice to live closer to where you are though, I'm about 5.5 hrs away

Tallon I didn't take it as anything, This car makes like 25 different ones I have had built over the years, your right latches shouldn't cost that much, when I say it was 1,000.00 it included a bunch of small pieces including the latches, if you are paying a very good fabricator then you will will spend what I did getting this stuff done, I paid 500.00 for everything it cut fab time from a week to one day that's all I was saying. My car goes to paint April 26th, two months later then I expected but, it will be in paint by mid May and then interior. Honestly if you have the latches and the skills to do the installation, then by all means tackle the job, if I had the time and was set up to do it that is what we would have done, by the way Tallon we are opening a shop here in East TN that will have one of the best metal fab guys, painters, fiber glass and mech around the area, I have wanted a shop for years and its just time to put together a operation that can build cars, boats, motor cycles, or anything that the mind can dream up.
