Title: Switch Connectors
Post by: String on November 03, 2013, 02:20:01 PM
I am in the process of getting some of the electrical block connectors / housings & terminals for some of the original switches . These would be for the window lift switch , the central locking switches , and the switch blocks for the centre console buttons, the main light switch panel , and the cruise control buttons .
If anyone requires any just let me know . They should be around £1.75 each.

I'd like to see some pictures of exactly what you get. I may be interested if they fit what I will be using. I already have some power window switches from an Audi and a power mirror switch from a Cadillac.

Hey String, ::wave will they be the ones for this style of switches?  If the are then I will take the ones for the windows and door locks.

The connectors are for the switches as kindly illustrated .
The top one is for the window & central locking switches, the centre selection is for the majority of original equipment switch block connections , including for example the cruise control buttons .
The bottom ones are the mirror control switch socket and the required connector.

If anyone is interested in any of the connectors pictured , all I need is an idea of numbers - not holding anyone to any commitment.

Thanks :)

Hi,
The switch connector blocks and terminals finally arrived from Italy. I am a bit annoyed at the 'packing and transport' cost of 28 euro's , with the vat has practically doubled the price of them to £3.55 each ( including 6 terminals ), which at the moment is about $5.90 ( x4 ) , if that is still acceptable with a bit of p&p on top then please let me know. I only got the four sets , so if I give the first four guys first refusal that would seem fair.
@ adrian , which type of mirror plug connector do you have ?, block connector (white) upto 2006 , or the flat connector (black) 2006+
Thanks

AHH OK, I've got a 013 A4 smashed up in the shop so I removed one switch before she goes to the recyclers but it is different even the pigtail.
