Top notch work as always Purple, glad you are still at it.  That rear bumper should be an easy fix.  Are you planning to add more fiberglass to make it more rigid?

That's almost exactly what I had in mind, I will connect the 2 pieces on the outsides to box it all in and attach them to the frame.  ::beers

Food for thought:  This pictured door inner latch reinforcement adds 360 degree support and then can be welded to the inner door frame for extra strength.

In order to properly space my panels I needed to mount some latches. I came up with these backer brackets that will keep the latch open enough to remain functional while giving me something to weld an inner door frame to. This should keep everything from hinge to latch nice and solid when finished!

Picked up a Prestige rear bumper awhile back, not exactly 670 but not terrible! Needs a lot of work as it came off a Murci that got hit, this thing is made of some pretty thin fiberglass.

Spent some time cleaning up the batwing hinges, making mounting brackets for the back side which will eventually be glassed in and assembling the hinges using some headed pins with c clips!

Also decided it was time to get my Bridgeport operational! Was a little tricky as this was my first go at using a VFD but after doing a little research I had it running like a champ!

Been a pretty crazy last year or 2 gonna try posting up some of the stuff I've been doing in the past 6 months so I can keep my build properly documented! I acquired a few pieces since my last post, got my door card lights and batwing hinges from my good buddy also another hinge cover plate and some adjustable bumpers for the hood!

The top of the cover resting on top of the engine is about an inch below level with the bottom of the window opening, I plan to mount mine to a piece of sheet metal and have about an 1 1/2 clearance between the bottom and the actual engine. It should clear the deck lid no problem.

Im getting ready to make a mount for my 3800 upper engine mounts.  Do you have a picture of what your looks like that you would be willing to post?  thks!!

Received some OEM door cards a couple weeks ago. Also purchased the door locks shortly after. This should really help align the doors when I get back after it! Anyone have a set of the square door lights they would be willing to sell???
