Title: Another Murci wanted
Post by: jw9800 on August 03, 2013, 11:49:45 PM
I also am looking for a partly finished Murci. I'm looking for a base model and this is my wish list so far.
G28 (of course)
Hard top
automatic
stock Fiero everything
doors working
Fiero stretched and body mounted with all lines working
windshield installed

That's my minimum, I would prefer working windows but we know how that is

My budget is 10 to 27K with 27K being mostly done. I know it can cost as much as 50 but that is where I am at right now.
In the future I plan on going to stage two but not right away.

Please, no 'I can build one for you, just send me the money. ' unless your willing to build it first with no money down. Too many scammers out there. I want to come and see it, hand you cash and have a happy ending.

I have 3 finished Murcie LP640's. They need some work, but they all run and all have power windows. They are all painted, one is green, another black, and the other smoke charcoal silver.

Adjust the color on your monitor lol! LOL, just kidding. Those aren't the cars for sale. That's an old picture from over a year ago, and the cars i've mentioned are the primered ones in the picture. They have since been completed and painted.

I'm in Southern California, but they are not my cars. My friend built these and they came out not-so-good because he hired cheap/inexperienced labor to build them. They just need to be reworked a little on the outside, and basically need new interiors. If you put another $10K in each of these cars they would be really nice.

I'll take pictures this week and find out what his price would be. I know he was talking a while back about having me go through each car and fix/upgrade everything. I've been working on the green one occasionally, I know he wants me to re-do the interior on it but he might want to keep that one for himself.

Fellow members, taking pictures in a shop is sometimes touchy and I respected the invitation by never asking. I debated whether to share this much info but the fact is that Carlos has several stacks, each 12 feet tall, of Lambos. He stated that all was for sale, I am just trying to send him interest, but Carlos needs to take it from here.

I understand !  Can you at least let us know details such as the quality of the fiberglass bodies?  I know one of the reasons you went to see Carlos was to see if it was shoddy cki/rob quality fiberglass or is it up to professional standards like Watson /vaydor  bodies needing little finish bodywork ?

Lastly , getting in touch with Carlos can be quite hard . Are you planning on being a source for purchasing these bodies so we can deal with someone who had better communication ?

Hello everyone, here are some links were you can see Carlos', Murcielago.
On the first link you will see the complete kit build up all together and on the second link you will see how one of the doors open. In the past I have done business with Carlos and all I can say is that you will not regret buying a kit from him. Getting in contact with Carlos is kind a hard sometimes but he is an honest person; he likes to have everything ready before he sells something.
thanks!

Tusabes,
I had posted info about his work over on the Aventador/street thread but will gladly take this opportunity to state again, I am not easily impressed with glass work but his is excellent. I saw plugs, molds, and parts, and all of them were well laid, well rolled, well flawed, well done. Something that I consider at least as important, they were square and symmetrical, and I spent some time checking this.
It had never occurred to me to be a source for him or his mouthpiece, but it is a thought that might merit discussion. Right now I am just trying to help what I believe is a good guy with a good product, but I should point out two things. First, as stated in the other thread, the Aventador is not a finished and available product at this time. Second, the Merci that I saw was not in the condition shown on those links.
