Please help me, does anyone know the builder of this car. I am having mechanical issues and my mechanic is having difficulty. I was wondering if there is a schematic or list of parts used. The clutch has gone and my mechanic has looked everywhere for the clutch resovouir and is unable to find it. Also need to know what kind of transmission was used. I am new to this forum and all the help is appreciated. Bought my dream car, but having dream car problems

I would start with who did you buy it from. Tell us something about the engine, is it longitudinal, or transverse. Pictures of the engine would help. I would question your mechanic as to why he can't trace the lines from the clutch to the reservoir. Is the car mounted to a stretched Fiero or custom chassis? More information is needed to answer your question.

bought it from guy in california that took in trade and had zero info on the car. The engine is a 1995 ls1 that is mounted sideways. I was told it was custom chassis, but i found out it is stretched fiero. i know that it was made in Ohio

V8 Archy sold most of the conversion kits for the Fieros. It is possible the clutch master cylinder is in the original location for the Fiero. It could be that you are using a Fiero transmission as well.

The roadster was built by "EX" on Kit Central. You can send him a personal message on that forum.

You have an LT1, not an LS1. I've seen that car all over EBay. It's a great car I wish it was mine. More than likely if it's a Sideways mounted V8 it's probably using the stock Fiero Trans which means you'll have a lot of issues. You could swap the clutch out but I'd look into getting a full on G6 transaxle.

Although it is a LOT more work, I would agree with the previous statement about getting a G6 6-speed manual for it instead. I have the V8 Archie kit in mine. I have a Diablo kit with an LT-1 and G6 6 Speed manual. It is pretty sweet. Part of V8 Archie's kit is the flywheel changes needed and the clutch/pressure plate, etc. Then you'[re able to get replacements pretty easy too. But then you're in to axles as well. But anyhow, it is a LOT beefier than the 5 Speed and the axles that are used with it.
Looks like a great car! Enjoy!
Thanks,
Coop

Found the clutch stuff. Thanks. I still haven't been able to track down the builder just to find out what body kit, schematics, etc
