This is the one I'm running. I usually run my propane heater for like 5 minutes to initially heat up the shop then run this guy on the thermostat. If I use it a lot, I can definitely see it on my electrical bill! I also work in sub freezing temps all winter too so idk if your shop gets that cold.

120v heaters aren't usually that effective unless you are in a small air tight space. My current garage has two 240v baseboard heaters and another wall mounted 240v quick heater for when a garage door has been opened. I used to use a propane heater in my previous garage. That is likely the lowest cost and quickest heat solution. Just ensure it is made specifically for indoor use.
