Trying to get some body work completed before the weather turns

front fenders:
since both wheel gaps and the actual shape are completely different, decided to take the best bits from each side
drivers side  Grind, CSM, Dynaglass, ez grip and lots of sanding.

got the door gap pretty close (tight) and somewhat happy with the shape

had to add 1/8 inch or so to the passenger side of the front trunk
Sandwiched DYNA glass between CSM

Also had to adjust the headlight area.  CSM Dynaglass CSM

Finished off with some Rage ultra.

Gap on the trunk close, headlight pretty tight  - will fine tune.... and sand slowly and not take too much off  :LL:

made some adjustments to the bumper and installed it.  Installed my headlights.  It had been so long ago since they were last in .

The passenger side install went well, as I had some pictures.  The drivers side, no pictures and I struggled. Ended up building a new drivers side one piece bracket.

next up a bunch of body work on the hood and fenders

tough to get stuff done while working, but got a little completed tonight

cut off the excess with my air saw

Sand with a block

fine tune with 80 grit on one side of a filler spreader.

after a month of working on home projects good to be back on the REDO  ::thumbup

The lower portion of the driver door was sticking out too much when compared to the rocker panel.

Cut the bottom of the door,  attached blocks and screws to bring the lower portion of out door skin in.

Fiberglass  rage ultra  and sand

Now a nice smooth transition from the door to the rocker

After a couple long weekends and a ton of rocks, 78 post and 640 feet of fence installed.  My gal did an excellent job of signaling when the auger was out of alignment.

I think she will be glad when Im back working on the REDO. :LL:

If the REDO comes out as nice as the fence I would be happy ::usa ::salute

taking a look at the side shot of the REDO vs OEM,  The angle of the scoop seemed off.  ::toothy

cut off some material sanded, refit, cut off some more sanded etc, until the angle seem right.

Made a flange on the Qtr panel to affix scoop,
