I just purchased an IFG, Fiero based Diablo.
Some idiot installed all digital gauges, none of which work, except the Tach & Speedo.
Can anyone give me some tips on reinstalling analog gauges? Does VDO make gauges compatible with the Fiero drive train & electronics?
Would it be best to just pick up a set of eBay, late model Fiero gauge cluster?
Most of my mechanical skills are engine related, so I'd like to keep it simple.
I'd appreciate any suggestions.

vdo gauges come with instruction on how to wire them. Very simple

Ccemn1, Besides being easy to install as Rodriegus says, VDO is the only gauge company that has a 220MPH speedo in a 4" diameter. A 120MPH speedo in these cars just looks stupid. That same speedo can be attached to a GPS sender which is in the long run way easier and more economical than a Hall effect or other. Be glad to sell you a set of six VDO instruments, I have them in stock.

Thanks guys, but I have determined that what I really want is a Diablo Roadster. The car I have now is beautiful, but between being an arthritic 68 year old, and living in Florida, I now realize a convertible is the way to go.
This one will be up for sale, as soon as I find a decent Roadster. Thanks again.

Hi 99F! Nice to hear from you again. I've got a couple homes to sell in NJ. Once I close on one of them, I'll be traipsing around the country checking out Roadsters in good condition.
I've put in a new halfshaft & wheel bearing, door lift cylinder, brake calipers & pads, Minor engine work, including MSD coil, new cap, rotor and Iridium spark plugs, and a new hi performance, all aluminium radiator. I'll list it for $25K, once I have another car lined up, and take whoever comes in with the best offer.
Good to hear from you again.
