Post by: No Bull on February 18, 2013, 06:16:43 PM: This is obviously a part in the works so it's fine if you don't have a picture of a finished part just yet. As a buyer, I would want to see pictures of a finished part before making a payment but it's ok to talk about interest in the parts now.

IKR, can you please post expected prices for the part and this will help generate interest and stay within the site rules for posting parts for sale.

You can structure it as a group buy by listing it as

1 buyer = $x.xx
2 buyers = $x.xx
3 buyers = $x.xx
4 buyers = $x.xx
5 buyers = $x.xx
6 buyers = $x.xx

and so on....

This would encourage members to work together on buying them as a group and give us an idea of what to budget and save for. I have some money budgeted for a spoiler and if I could get a nice LP670 spoiler for that price, I'd more than likely go with one of yours.

It's totally your choice if you want to list who's interested in buying them or not and this might be something you want to reserve for PM's to keep this list private.

Yes.. I just received a picture from IKR that clearly shows the mold for the wing and you can see the pedestals that were in the previous picture in the same picture.

we made a black center section with license plate area and uprights on each side ,still in the mold ,when assembled it will look like photo above , the 2 upper outside cross beams will be made to finish it and tie it into the rear 670 style bumper side pieces .... this way we can use less rear grill work ,and not show so much of the fiero chassis through the rear area.

Post by: italianknightrider on January 26, 2014, 02:49:49 PM: THE MOLDS are from the first generation , we changed it to LP ,we have the flanges to make it LP ,it has a flange under the door opening to mount the rockers. this is by far the cleanest hand laid gel coat. the body has flanges for front and rear bumpers & side scoops, by using this approach we can make all version from a 2002 - 670 version , from this body shell. you have to add flanges yourself on all the other kits ,2 kits sold

Post by: Digibeam on January 27, 2014, 04:24:36 PM: I dont have any pictures to share at this point, but i am mounting the oil cooler in the oem position as well the intake/outlet port which makes the whole assembly functional.
what i am seeing is that the material of the rear quarter will impede the functionality of the oil cooler in the LP configuration as their rear quarters do not drop as low on the leading edge of the wheel opening.
the images are "net photos" as well one of John Watsons i believe.

if you want to see a full package send some money ,place a order ,people have no problem sending it to other suppliers that others members claim is the best and end up with a half a kit or no kit. we sold 3 in the local area ,they know what this is worth.

This is the template we will take to the water jet cnc cutter Wed ,he will use this to transfer the shape, whole sizes and thickness to the .25" Aluminum this will mount flat to the trunk

when i look at them i am seeing structural issues, and yes i am aware it is for a wing but in saying that, the holes are placed in such a way that will cause a weakness in the structure.
Maybe i am looking into it too deep, but i dont want you to go to all the effort and investment to have something that could potentially fracture.

Step 1. have the cad work done
Step 2. get the structural design and what size material should be used ,right now it,s specked out to be power coated .25 / 1/4" or 3/8" Aluminum plate ,with a weld on top mount to inside and a bottom foot ,that,s in the picture
Step 3. cut and make them .... THE SLOTTED WHOLES ARE ROUND ON THE ENDS ,me and my exact o knife was not good enough to get those correct

Please give me your idea,s

Finally finished the Billet Aluminum 670 Style Wing Stand / Legs

we are not doing our 670 style rear bumper ,we had some issue so we scrapped it , until next year when we get the other components from overseas to finish it . we do not have the cross pieces.
