I still have plates left if anyone is interested?  I'm able to ship these out this week and get them there before Christmas morning.  They would make wonderful stocking stuffers for the children and look excellent on a Big Wheel or bike!    ::tongue

Details, details...  ;)
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

Ah, so that other plate String posted is only for non-US versions? From his post I understood it was on all the Murcielagos.
Like the man in the orthopedic shoes , ' I stand corrected ' , the engine bay plate is ROW cars and US cars have the door mounted plate. I do however need declared axle weights on my VIN plate.
Cheers
Oooh , Red leather.

Sounds good Chris. I'd like a complete set of these stickers/plates for US models.

I checked with a buddy that owns a real Murci on the other plate and he told me that his car didn't have that plate or decal and his car is an original US based coupe.  I'm going to try and visit him soon and take pictures with sizes of all the plates and decals on his car.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris.....I'm just coming into this for the first time.    Sorry I'm late.

Are you putting the Fiero/MR2, etc, VIN# on this tag?   Is this correct?    And if so....is there any conflict at all with the tag saying "manufactured by ..... in Italy".   Just asking.  I know its more for aesthetic replication purposes.  Dont know much about this.   Do you still have some more available?

Mitch

Hi Mitch, yes these are intended to be engraved with the VIN number of your car.  I'm assuming that your car will need to retain either the VIN tag that came with the donor or a new sticker will be issued by the DMV if a new number is issued to the car (will probably depend on the state).  Personally I don't think the made in Italy information on the tag will have any impact on the VIN number which is what the DMV is really interested in.  Also if you are required to retain the original VIN tag, this would only match that number and be on the underside of the door for aesthetics.  I know that my Fiero based car is legally registered as a 2010 Lambo Spec and the state of Arizona issued the car a new VIN number that starts with AZ.  This number is on a Arizona DMV sticker which is located on the door jamb and I'll make sure to retain this on the car since it matches the title.  Technically having the VIN appear in other locations on the car (actually a requirement in most states) won't be an issue as long as it's the same VIN that's on the title.  It's  always best to check with your local laws just to make sure.  :)

Yes, I have some plates left if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

Chris

Yes, that is what we all do. I understand what you are saying. However, during this journey, opportunities will arise and you have to decide when to take advantage of the opportunities that may not be available later. It is a judgement call. Nothing wrong with that. I think it is part of the fun...then again, there are those on this forum who think I am "that guy". Hehehehe Whatever. This is supposed to be fun. Make sure you are having fun!
