Wow lots of riders around here...! I had a baby on July 2010 and with all of the distractions people have while driving, it just wasn't safe anymore and decided to get find different hobbies...
Very nice bikes, it is hard not to ride anymore, sure miss it... And Ducati's are the King of all the sport bikes. I never got a chance to ride one :-[

I've owned a lot of cars in my life and have gone through several collections of early 70's Camaro's, 60's Mopars, Big Healey's, Corvette and 65 Buick Gran Sports. I've also owned the motorcycle movie prop from Blankman (sold) and a few other toys along the way. A couple of years ago, I had the largest documented collection of 65 GS's with a total count of seven cars and enough parts to last a lifetime. When I decided to commit to my Lambo build, I found new homes for five of these Buicks and kept these two.
My vert.

I now keep busy on the weekends racing my 420cc go kart
(http://lamboclone.com/pictures/mykart.jpg)
A motorcycle is in my future but first I need to keep my promise to hold off until my last kid has turned 18 which will be next year. It's a personal choice, but I wanted to make sure I was around to fullfill my obligation of raising her and the motorcycle idea was just something that didn't fit the risk vs. reward quota for me so I decided to wait. ;)

My current toys and a pen holder I made at work when I was bored lol
CBR 929 Erion Edition, XR650, and a stuck Polaris 325
-
My 206 I had for 3 years. Logged almost 600 hours in it though ;)
-
Really Mike?
First you build one of the nicest Murci's ever and then today you show up with pictures of your helicopter? LOL! I'm glad your last name is not "Jones" and you don't live next door because there would be no keeping up with you buddy. 8)
It's on my bucket list to get my single engine pilots licence and buy a small plane. We have our second home in the Colorado Rockies and getting back and forth to Ohio would be a lot easier with a private plane. We'll see what the future holds ::)

Yeah, no joke. I was lucky when I got out of college, I worked for Rocketdyne in Canoga Park (Los Angeles). They had a program that they would pay 50% of whatever schooling you would enrole in, didn't matter what it was. I had wanted to get my license (Rotary wing) for a long time, but could never afford it. When this opportunity came up, I jumped on it LOL!
I bought that 206 back in '94 (it was an '88), and got a fantastic deal on it. It was owned by a news station in Florida, and they had to unload it.
I used to take all my friends on rides if they would chip in for fuel and maintainence, going to Catalina Island after work for dinner was my favorite thing to do. Flying along the coast at 15' above the water at sunset is what I miss the most :'(

This is so stereotypical California living and it only makes those of us living in the midwest, that more jealous of the West Coast. At least we have snow and tornadoes.. wait, those are bad things. :o

I have had and do have too many toys. I fly Helicopters for a living and currently Fly a 407. Got about 3000hrs in 206's. About 500 in b3's, it's cool to find other pilots that build.
My toys have been Goldwing 1100 and 1500. A Dodge Daytona Turbo Z.
My current toys are:
Porsche 928, Jaguar XJR, BMW Z3, Mini Cooper Convertible and my 2 reproduction Lambos.
-
I have 2200 hours total, but only 900 of those are in a jet helicopter. The rest are R22 and R44.
I tried doing it for a living, but theres to much competition here in L.A.
Are you former military? All my pilot friends who have tons of hours learned to fly in the service, lucky bastards!

Hey guys hope you don't mind me chimming in. I have had many cars growing up in the 70s. My 1970 Dodge Charger, 65 Mustang,67 MGB 81 Delorean 69 Camaro and my 1990 Ferrari Testarossa replica. Rebuilding that Testarossa car started an obsession inside me. I rebuilt my H1 Hummer replica then decided to build a car from the very beginning. After imagining all the possibilities I built the Crimefighter Extreme painted blood red as a tribute to the first responders of 911. Took me two years and gave me the confidence to build the Tribute Rumbler. A street legal 4 seater Dark Knight Tumbler replica. One year research and 3 1/2 years to build. Built as a tribute to the men and women in the US Armed Forces. I take it to military charities in Northern California. I am currently building a Dark Knight Batpod replica. My latest obsession is the Murcielago Coupe and I am obsessed. Lol Thanks for looking....dave

And my best work to date the Tribute Rumbler
Wow I want one!
Had no idea you built so many cars, that reassures us your murcie build will be amazing as well. Can't wait to see it finished.
-
Thanks Tallon, you can't imagine how many times I came close to giving up on the Tribute Rumbler. It was actually my pastor that suggested I make it a tribute vehicle. He was right we are willing to work harder for others than we are ourselves. That suggestion gave me the strength and motivation to finish it. I hope this previous work will make my Murcie nice. But building a car that has a certain way of going together verses a hotrod build is very different. My Murcie will be more of a hotrod build. So not an exact replica. Thanks so much for the kind words. I know I am in the company of many fine builders and look forward to any suggestions people are willing to give. Semper Fi !!!

I'm at work so I don't have pictures but in my life I've owned a '57 T-bird, '71 Alfa Spyder, '72 Lotus Europa, '59 Porsche 356 Convertible D, '81 Corvette, Kawasaki ZX1100 and my current bike a Victory Vegas. Nothing quite as exotic as a batmobile!
-
Yeah its weird this obsession about cars. I could have saved so much money and time not being addicted to cars and motorcycles. But oh well we all got to have something that brings out the passion.

Sorry MM I got otta pocket for a while. I have almost 4000 hours total, around 250 in Hughes 269a's.
I trained civilian and flew tours in the Smoky Mountains for a couple years. I have been flying 17 years and just was blessed to get into it when I did. I still fly around the Mountains here, just as an EMS pilot now. lol.

Ferrari 308 replica:
I have updated to more oem look. Redone the front to solid front fenders and smaller hood, extended screen, 308 replica interior and other mods. Latest progress has it almost sitting in full primer getting ready for paint.
Ferrari 355 replica:
I spent way too many years on this one. Redid the full body as none of the panels were matching or straight. I put this one away for a couple years to do the 308 as I was burning out on it. I am back to it after the 308 off to paint. There has been a bunch more work on the 355 since this pic was taken but still some to go.
5000s Countach replica:
Only a body so far. Plan to convert from the 25th into a 5000s.
2001 Porsche Boxster:
I quite enjoy driving this little car around. More my daily driver.
1967 Mustang:
Fully rebuilt to factory specs. I don't have a full picture of it, just in the background of the 308.
Custom Frame built from a Fiero:
Wish I still had this one. I bought it to build my 288 GTO replica on. It was built around a Fiero windshield frame and door frames. Everything was built around that so he could keep the VIN.... It was built by a guy on Pennock's and picked it up for a great deal and ended up storing it for a few years. I sold it off to another kitcar guy that was going to build an F40 on it. It has since been sold again to another guy that is going to put two motorcycle engines in it.
This one would have been an outstanding start to the Countach build if I had been thinking that far ahead as it is 98.5" wheelbase...
I don't have pics of the boxster or the custom frame at work here. I will post pics later.
The auto hobby is way past a hobby for me at this point... Addiction is closer to the truth...
Cheers
Don
Edit to add frame and Boxster. Only one pic left so everyone already knows what a Boxster looks like so frame it is ....

I built this out of about 6 different bikes: honda, suzuki, kawasaki, aprilia, agusta m4, etc

When I'm done with the lambo its getting painted orange and I'm fitting a single sided front end on it to the match the rear.
Heres a rare gilera cx125. It was never imported to the us due to it being a 2 stroke. I had airtech make me the carbon fiber body. Look at the singleside front fork.
