Some light stuff over the weekend. Brakes powder coated, installed, bled and working great. Powder coating the battery box today and finishing up some wiring so I can get the steering column installed. Making a wall of relays for various items. Almost turn key on my motor!

Pretty awesome!

Go Jets!! I loved your Murci, this is already better. Can’t wait to see this thing driving around, looks like it won’t be long.

I remember you bro, thanks!

Love the engine bay trim. Are those OEM panels or did you make them. Impressive.

Ya man, all OEM panels with a ton of trimming cutting and bending

Some pics from the long holiday weekend. Feeling very good about the speed of the build. Motor is in, car is running, frame is almost done and bodywork starts in 2 weeks. It took me about 18 months to get to this point on my Murci project and I started the Avent in January!

That engine bay is absolutely beautiful!  ::headbang

Jets! Project looks great. I do have a question tho. The Duraflex body? Any issues with it? Happy with the work on it? I have heard so many horror stories about their products. Mostly the bumper covers, lip kits ect they offer. Your the first full body I have seen. Making me second guess just doing my rocket bunny fiero. lol.

Hey Craig, thanks! Dude I can’t complain about the shell. It is very uniform and thick all the way around. They applied plenty of gel coat to bodywork and most all my panels line up great. Plus they were awesome to work with, I would recommend them to anyone!
