Ever since I swapped in the LS4 into my Diablo Roadster I hated the look of my exhaust tips. I have a Aero Turbine muffler going straight back off the ls4 and until now just had a cheap looking angled dual tip on the end.
Yesterday I put some new tips on it very similar to the ones in the pic of this yellow Diablo-
I looks a lot better now but I like the rear bumper on that car how it has the little things (don't know what their called) on either side of the tips. Im about to start prepping for a respray on the paint and was wondering if it would look dumb to have this type of bumper on my Roadster?
Does anyone know what the measurements of these little things are or have some close up pics?

I don't have any information that will help you get the mod right but I don't think it looks dumb. I like it and think it would look cool on a roadster.

I had a coupe bumper on my roadster and I don't think it belonged there. Though I can't say my car looked bad but the roadster bumper is much wider and compliments the car much better then the skinny coupe bumper.

Tonypaul: You could mold them with studs off car. Paint, drill 4 holes, and install.

That's the plan, I wasn't ever considering swapping out the whole bumper just perhaps adding the diffusers on each side of the exhaust tips. Im going to mock it up this week and see what it looks like after I fix my brakes....
This past Thursday I was driving around in the car and noticed the brakes felt weird, kinda spongy. But continued to drive it all day and the brakes were fine just softer than normal. Later that afternoon I noticed a small puddle of brake fluid under the car in the garage. After digging into it I found a small crack inside the threads of a braided steel brake hose.
Got some new steel braided hoses on the way, not sure what caused it after 3500 miles on the car. I also tore apart the inside my front compartment. I originally put my stereo amps in there now Im relocating them behind the panel behind the seats. Going to redo the carpet up there also and then start sanding on the car getting it ready for a respray and some fixes on some body work.
Going to be a busy week....
