Title: Has anyone used aluminum racing seats?

I love the seats I have in my Diablo but even with no rails/sliders (mounted straight to the floor) they still kinda give a cramped feel. Thinking of getting some Kirkey Aluminum Drag Racing Seats (like below) and having them covered in something kinda like I have now. Im not a big guy only 5' 10", but would like something that sits even lower thus giving a less cramped feel. I have a great interior guy that can do anything as far as adding a little foam and great leather work but kinda looking for ideas. Other pic is the seats I have now.
