first pieces already made ...
here you have a picture of the first sample.
this week had just the manufacture and polishing.
if anyone else is interested has until Friday to ordering.

Its confirmed they are 3mm thick and have sides,  also using a alloy mould so they will be as smooth as glass and ripple free.

only 3 more people needed ! and only $115 a pair :-D

Another reason I am getting two sets, even though I have a glass set is the possibility of losing a lens to a rock or stone or something else that would leave me without a spare.... Lexan isn't going to break... Even if it got scratched you can polish it out quite well....
Once the glass breaks.... It's done.... Just saying

This is a good opportunity for people to get lens for their build,  the glass ones seem far out of reach for now so who knows when this will happen again?
Anyone on the fence should just go ahead, it's a small price for a good part

ok you convinced me, i will just reshape the body line ( move it over) its got to be a huge improvement over the flat lens look dontcha think? i never really cared for  the flat lens look anyway, doesnt look quite right does it? dont they scratch / flex real easy? count me in for two, lets go for it.  ::thumbup Thanks
